In Life We Hold Many Things

In life we hold many things in our hands and hearts;

There are some special people that we have to let go.

Even though it will be hard we have to get through it

They might mean the world to us, one of the most precious things,

Our love for someone else;

They will always be within our hearts;

We know that they will now be in a better place.

We still hold onto the memories of what we have done.

From when we were little kids

Like playing in the park, swimming and running on the beach,

Wrestling tournaments, fishing trips, those Sunday morning marathons.

Are only some things of what my memories are.
